Legacy of leadership reigns on in Muncy

MUNCY – This year 21 senior high school members from Muncy Jr/Sr High School attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Hershey on April 2-5.
As always it was a great time of building friendships and teamwork.
Members attended a Hershey Bears hockey game that Sunday night with their adviser Mrs. Heather Zimmerman and chaperone Ms. Beth Crissman.
On Monday morning members dove right in to their competitions and performances according to Zimmerman.
The Community Service Project team of senior Caleb Smith and freshman Aleaha Bigelow placed 7th. American Enterprise Project team of senior Sarah Freezer, junior Nathan Paisley and freshman Tanner Gold placed 6th! Senior Sarah Freezer also competed in job interview and made it to the final round, placing 11th overall! Junior Katie Sobjak also placed in her event, Business Communications. She placed 4th and qualified to move on the National FBLA Leadership Conference at the end of June in Anaheim, California.

Twenty one Muncy High School students attended the FBLA leadership conference in Hershey from April 2-5, 2017.
Sobjak and adviser Heather Zimmerman will be traveling to sunny California June 28-July 3.
