Muncy Ministerium Community Thanksgiving Eve Service will be at the Church of the Resurrection’s new home, 75 Musser Lane, on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m. Reverend Carla Volland will preach at this ecumenical service, with light refreshments following.



Free flu shot clinics will be held Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the Hughesville Fire Department, 8:30 to 10 a.m.; Keystone Hook and Ladder Co., Muncy, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; Montgomery Volunteer Fire Co., 3:30 to 5 p.m.; on Thursday, Nov. 20, at Hepburn Township Volunteer Fire Co., 3 to 5 p.m.; on Friday, Nov. 21, The Campbell Street Center, 9 a.m. to noon.

The vaccines are given on a walk-in basis and are supplied by the state Department of Health’s Division of Immunization through funds from State Health Improvement Plan partners.



A rather ambitious performance of Razzle Dazzle Radio from the cast of Custom Taylored Productions last weekend was noted–to a disappointingly sparse audience. Please support their next endeavor, Tuna Christmas, on Dec. 5-6, 7:30 p.m.at The Ritz.



Santa Claus will be making a series of customary appearances this week, beginning in Williamsport on Friday, then proceeding to the Lycoming Mall on Saturday, noon.

The Jolly One in Red has various gigs throughout the world, but will return to the borough of Muncy on Saturday, Dec. 6, just in time for the 10 a.m. traditional reading of Clement C. Moore’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and his anticipated welcome to the Muncy post office at noon.



A comedic audience participation rendition has been scheduled of The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood, a Junior/Senior class play at Hughesville High School, Nov. 21 and 22, 7:30 p.m. tickets are $5; Feasting on Shakespeare, a dinner theatre presented by Montgomery Area High School on Nov. 21.



A birthday wish has been granted to Dr. Mary Bennardi on Thursday, Nov. 20 from her loyal and loving employees.
