MOPS-a subject very near and dear to my heart, and not for it’s domestic purposes-is one of the featured stories on our front page this week. Also known as Mothers Of PreSchoolers, this international organization was designed for mothers with children ages birth to age 5, a group often overwhelmed by the demands of parenting.

I became acquainted with the organization when living in Virginia Beach in the late 90’s, and was thankful to have experienced the benefits the group offers to mothers with young children. If you are a mother of young children, or know a young mother who might benefit from the company of other mothers, make them aware of the article, which includes information on the meeting time and whereabouts.

Traffic to our improved website was impressive for the first month, generating 3,760 visits, 2,648 of which were from first-time visitors. Wow-zer!
