Sometimes, I think about how we possibly managed before the invention of things like cell phones, microwave ovens, or computers. Well, now I want to add one more item to that list: the cookie dough scoop! It looks like a miniature ice cream scoop and works like a charm – no more sticky fingers or odd-shaped cookies.

Thursday, Dec. 31, a New Years Eve Buffet Dinner/Dance/Party will take place at the Clinton Township Fire Hall. Meal features ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, filling, gravy, and all the trimmings, including home made pies and cakes. Doors open at 6:30 PM,meal starts at 7:30pm. Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 7 PM, Mr. John J. Eastlake, a local historian from South Williamsport will be presenting a look at the history of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) Camps at the January meeting of the Montgomery Area Historical Society at the Borough Hall, Main Street, Montgomery.

Saturday, January 23, All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast featuring eggs, sausage, home fries, pancakes, and beverage will be held at the Clinton Township Fire Hall.
