Thursday, March 11, 12 to 6 p.m., an American Red Cross blood drive will be held at First Lutheran Church, 400 Main St., in Watsontown.
Saturday, March 12, beginning at 6 p.m., the 12th Annual Beatlesfest will be held at the Clinton Township Fire Hall. Vendor space is still available. For information please call the station at (570) 547-1000 Mon-Fri. Any other questions e-mail beatlesfest@ctvfc.com
Tuesday, March 16, 7 p.m., the Montgomery Area Historical Society has invited Carl Miess, PA State Grange Public Relations and Membership Director, to discuss the history of the Pennsylvania Grange at the Eagle #1 Grange Hall, Route 15 in Montgomery. The public is invited to this meeting. Light refreshments will be served.
Saturday, March 20, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Benefit Auction at the Watsontown Christian Academy, 8th Street, Watsontown.
Saturday, March 20, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Watsontown Lions Spring Chicken BBQ will be held in the parking lot at the corner of Brimmer and Main Streets.
Saturday, March 20, 4 to 7 p.m., a chicken and ham pot pie dinner will be held at A1 Wheels/Deals at the intersection of Route 15 and 54.
Saturday, March 27, beginning at 3 p.m., the Montgomery Area Historical Society will host an Open House at the Stone Church on the Allenwood Prison Grounds near White Deer Golf Course. Following the Open House, a Lenten service will begin at 6 p.m. featuring a community choir. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance and pose for pictures with children of all ages. Please bring a donation of nonperishable food for the local food pantry.
Sunday, March 28, starting at 12 noon, a ham & dandelion dinner will be held at the Oak Grove Community Center a ham & dandelion dinner. For more info, call Linda Bower at the township office (547-2220 Monday, Tuesday & Thursday).
Tuesday, April 13, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., the Montgomery FoodBank will be held at the Christ Lutheran Church, 50 E. Houston Ave., Montgomery. For more info, contact Carolyn at 547-1508.
Thursday, April 22, 12 to 5 p.m., Red Cross Bloodmobile will be held at the Clinton Township Fire Hall.
Saturday, April 24, Black Hole Creek Cleanup Day (rain date, May 1) will take place in coordination with Great PA Cleanup at Riverside Campground. For more info, contact Becky at 547-6289.
Saturday, April 24, 9 to 11 a.m., a Rabies Clinic will be held in the engine bay at the Clinton Township.
Tuesday, April 27, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., an Emergency Preparedness Carnival, hosted by the Allenwood/Lewisburg Crisis Support Team, will be held at the FCC Allenwood Training Center. Carnival will feature demonstrations, child finger-printing and photos, Life Flight helicopter, and more. Held rain or shine; located at the first building on the right after you turn into the Allenwood Federal Correctional Complex off Route 15.
Tuesday, May 4, 7 p.m., the Black Hole Creek Watershed Association will host Peter Petrokas, Ph.D., from the Clean Water Institute and Department of Biology of Lycoming College will present “Mudpuppies and Waterdoggies,” a program about the natural history and conservation of the Eastern Hellbender Salamander. Bring your children to this meeting, which will be held at the Montgomery Borough Office, 35 South Main Street.
