Hughesville locals

By Staff | Apr 13, 2010

Fun Fact for the week: Flowering Spring bulbs are triggered by a rise in soil temperature. Being underground they are not affected by day length or air temperature. As the soil temperature rises, the bulbs start to sprout.

Pet Peeve for the week: My Pet Peeve for the week is my good friend Mary Pat (Bower) Burns. She has really been taking care of herself and she looks fantastic. I am totally jealous, but she is a great motivator!
