Antique show at Geringer Social Hall this weekend sponsored by the Muncy Historical Society. Opening reception will be Friday starting at 5:30.
Open house Wednesday night at Myers Elementary from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and Thursday night at the high school at 6:30 p.m. Kick off for fall sports at 7 p.m. at the football field or gym depending on weather.
Susquehanna Quilt Guild will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on Friday at Pennsdale United Methodist Church, 658 Village Rd. A workshop on quilted jackets is scheduled for Saturday. Memberships are also due.
Deer Camp Aug. 28 & 29 at Gander Mountain from 10 to 4. Seminars, vendors, taxidermists and outfitters will tell all about the white-tailed deer in our area. Call Kristi at 546-1040 for more information.
Hunter-trapper education courses to be given by the state Game Commission on Aug. 27, 28 & 29 at North Mountain Sportsmen Association in Muncy Valley. Attendees must be at least 11 years old. To register, call 928-8941.

Muncy Valley Hospital’s Skilled Nursing Unit is hosting monthly meetings in the Park View room. Regular monthly meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month.
