The Lycoming Woodland Owners will hold its Fall Harvest dinner at the Pennsdale Methodist Church on Thursday, Oct. 7 starting with snacks at 5:30 p.m. followed by a meal of full course meal of chicken and stuffing with homemade pie. After dinner enjoy a program of forestry by Jim Finley. Children under 6 free. Call 546-5548 for reservations.

Susquehanna Riverlands Festival Sat. Oct. 9 from 10 to 3. Hayrides, pumpkin painting and children’s activities. Local produce for sale, demonstrations by Spinners and Needles Fiber Art Guild, quilt show in the Information Center and live amphibians and reptiles to see.

Sunday, Oct. 10 local historian, Robert Webster will discuss “The Fabulous Fifties” at the Muncy Historical Society, 40 N. Main St. at 2:30 p.m. The 50’s were a time of great social and economic change. Light refreshments will be served following the program.
