The 39+ Club will meet on Wednesday, November 10 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Hughesville. The meal will be catered. Please bring a dollar gift for playing bingo.
The Huntersville Area Senior Citizens will meet on Weds. Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. at the Huntersville United Methodist Church for a vegetable soup dinner. Meeting will follow. Members are invited to bring non-perishable food items to be given to the Son Light House.
The Hughesville American Legion Post 35 Turkey Raffle will be held on Saturday, November 13 from 7-9 p.m. This event is open to the public.
The Clarkstown United Methodist Church will be having a homemade Chicken & Beef Pot Pie Supper on Saturday, November 13 from 4-7 p.m. Ages 6-12 and under 6 are free. Take-outs and by-the-quart are available.
An all-you-can-eat Buffet Breakfast will be held on Sunday, November 14 at the Picture Rocks Fire Company from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children under 6 free.
The Millville Volunteer Fire Company will be holding a Breakfast Buffet on Sunday, November 14 from 7-11 a.m.
Mon. Nov. 15 the East Lycoming Historical Society will present a World War II program by Mr. Ken Stackhouse, a Hughesville resident who served in the U.S. Air Force. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome.
The Lairdsville Fire Company will be holding a turkey raffle on Saturday, November 20. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., kitchen opens at 6 p.m. and the raffle starts at 7 p.m.
Remember; this Thursday, November 11, is Veteran’s Day. Most federal businesses will be closed in order to honor our veterans. Remember those who fought for peace and thank a veteran.
