Friday, Nov. 19 from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Montgomery Area Public Library’s Centennial Kick Off: A special open house event with 1911 memorabilia, local high school art work, 100 year old books, games and refreshments at Montgomery Area Public Library, 1 South Main Street, Montgomery.

Saturday, November 20, 4 to 6:30 p.m., Old-fashioned dip meal at Elimsport United Methodist Church Social Hall, 16145 S. Route 44 highway. Choose your “dip” (serving) of meat (roast turkey, roast beef or barbecue) or main dish, hot and cold side dishes, bottomless hot and cold beverages, and rolls. Smaller dips, at a discounted price, are available for children 10 & under. Take-outs available.

Saturday, Dec. 11, 9 a.m. to 12 noon, Breakfast with Santa at the Warrior Run Area Fire Dept. Social Hall in Allenwood. Your breakfast will be: eggs, toast, pancakes, bacon, coffee, water, milk, and juice! Lots of activities for the children too! Neighbors helping Neighbors will be there collecting canned goods.
