Thursday Nov. 11 open house with the Muncy Professional Business Association from 6 – 8 p.m. at Orlando’s Deli, 6 S. Main St. Meet and greet business owners, share refreshments and register for door prizes.

Sat. & Sun. Nov. 13-14 enjoy turkey cooking at Gander Mountain. Learn all the right ways to cook a turkey. There wil be smoking, deep frying, turkey jerky and much more. Free samples available and turkey cooking packages offered.

Wildlife art expo at PPL Preserve in Washingtonville Sat. noon to 5 and 11 to 4 on Sunday. Free programs will take place at the Environmental Education Center.

Sat. Nov. 13 craft show in Clarkstown at the Muncy Creek Vol. Fire Co. from 9 to 3.

Build a Bear story time at Borders Nov. 13 for ages 3 to 8 starting at 2 p.m.

Sun. Nov. 14 you’re invited for a book signing event, Murder in Muncy Creek, at the Muncy Historical Society from 2 to 5 p.m. This is a true account of the 1836 trial, conviction and hanging of John Earls.

Fire tax meeting Tues. Nov. 16 at the Geringer Hall, Muncy at 6:30 p.m.

Book discussion at Borders “Me, Myself and Why” at 7 p.m. Weds. Nov. 17.

Saturday, November 20 Craft show at Muncy High School from 9 to 2. Crafts, lunch, raffle, and Santa from 11 to 1. It will be sponsored by the Muncy High School Girls Soccer team. Crafts, food and raffles will be available with “make it and take it” and Santa for kids. Call 546-2112 for more information or to be a vendor.

Waterfowl observations at PPL’s Montour Environmental Preserve from 9 to 11 on Sat. Nov. 20. Meet at Goose Cove Overlook for waterfowl viewing and observation. Bring binoculars or spotting scope and field guide.

Black Friday School’s Out Camp for kids at the Eastern Lycoming YMCA, open to ages 6 to 14. Great while parents go shopping starting at 8:30 a.m. up to 4:30 p.m. Swimsuit and towel required for swimming. Fee that includes breakfast and lunch.

Nov. 26 (6-9 p.m.) and Nov. 27 (10 to 5) Holiday Open House at Windcrest Farm, 552 Bichle Rd., Muncy. Featuring Christmas baskets, shepherds hooks, hand made clothes drying racks and homemade candy plus lots more.

Lights of Love Celebration and lighting ceremony at Muncy Valley Hospital Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m.

Medicare beneficiaries Town Hall Meeting at the Life Center Tues. Nov. 30 at 1:30 p.m. to learn about medicare coverage and options.

Dec. 4 Santa arrives at Gander Mountain, Lycoming Mall at noon in his own truck and Crestliner jon boat. From 10 to 4 there will be a variety of children’s activities and visits with Santa. Pictures will be taken and distributed for a donation.
