Rango is playing at the Ritz Theatre in Muncy until Mar. 24

Clarkstown United Methodist Church will be holding a Homemade Chicken Ham Pot-Pie Supper on Saturday, March 15 from 4-7 p.m.

Friday, Mar. 18 the Muncy High School PTSA will sponsor the second Faculty vs. Seniors Basketball Game at 7 p.m. at the high school gymnasium to battle for the “Smelly Shoe Trophy.”

Mar. 19 the Tiadaghton Chapter of the Rocky Mt. Elk Foundation will hold its annual fundraising banquet at the Pennsdale Civic Center. Doors open at 4 p.m. For reservations call 482-4364.

Colorectal cancer, screening and discussion at Meck Senior Center, Mar. 22 at 11:30 a.m.

Mar. 22 is Diabetes Alert Day. Join the Life Center at 11 a.m. for a presentation about this disease. Free glucose testings available.

Mar. 23 & 24 are distribution days for SonLight House, 130 Carpenter St. Weds. 10 to noon and Thurs. 6 to 7:30 p.m.

March 24 – 27 Pennsylvania Outdoor Life Expo at the Lycoming Mall

Mar. 25 at the Montour Preserve in Washingtonville Jon Beam will lead a program on the behavior of an unusual bird, the timberdoodle or the American woodcock. The program will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Attendees will be able to go outdoors and listen for their “courtship ritual.”

Watsontown United Methodist Church, 1319 Eighth Street Drive, Watsontown, will hold a Chicken & Biscuit Dinner on Saturday, April 2 starting at 4 p.m. Ages 4 & under are free. A children’s meal will be offered. Take-outs available. Further information, call the church office at 538-1017.

On Sunday, Apr. 3, St. James Episcopal Church, located at 315 S. Main St. in Muncy will be having an Evensong service at 5 p.m. with a spaghetti supper following in the Parish Hall behind the Church. Evensong is a beautiful service of sung evening prayers. All are welcome and freewill offerings will be accepted.

Apr.6 all you can eat good ‘n plenty supper at First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St. from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Serving baked ham loaf. Take-outs available.

Sat. Apr. 16 the 1st annual Spring 5K Family Fun Run/Walk will be held at the East Lycoming YMCA. Registration will take place in the Hughesville High School gymnasium at 8 a.m. For more information call 546-8822.
