Mar. 25 at the Montour Preserve in Washingtonville Jon Beam will lead a program on the behavior of an unusual bird, the timberdoodle or the American woodcock. The program will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Attendees will be able to go outdoors and listen for their “courtship ritual.”

GriefShare Support Group begins a new 13-week series starting March 29. This special weekly seminar and support group is for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. Sat. Apr. 2 a basement tag sale to benefit the East Lycoming Relay for Life will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Muncy Baptist Church, corner of Penn and Market
Streets. The Relay for Life event will be held June 3 and 4.
On Sunday, Apr. 3, St. James Episcopal Church, located at 315 S. Main St. in Muncy will be having an Evensong service at 5 p.m. with a spaghetti supper following in the Parish Hall behind the Church. Evensong is a beautiful service of sung evening prayers. All are welcome and freewill offerings will be accepted.
