Watsontown Area Business Association and the Warrior Run Fire Department
will host a Fairy Tale Princess & Prince Pageant on Saturday, June 18 at
1 p.m. at Watsontown Community Park for children ages 0-8 years old.
Applications, photos, and entry fee must be received by June 1, 2011.

Saturday, June 4, 9 a.m., 4th annual 5K JesVic Race, beginning at the
Watsontown Elementary School; registration at 7:45 a.m. Participants can
run or walk, and there is also a 1/2 mile kids run which begins at 10am.
Money raised is donated to local families who have illnesses in their
families and are struggling to pay medical bills. For more information

Tuesday, June 7, 12:00 noon, the Montgomery Area Senior Citizens will
meet for a catered dinner at St. John Lutheran (Brick) Church between
Montgomery and Muncy. Reservations are required for the meal and may be
made by calling Charles Duchman at 547-1160 by Friday, June 3. Visitors
are welcome for the cost of the meal. Please bring table service. The
program will be presented by Kate Shade dressed as a working woman at
the time of the Revolution and will reveal details of the life of Betsy
Ross who made the 13 star flag.

Saturday, June 25, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., a forest landowner workshop
titled “Caring for Your Woodland II: Making Good Decisions” will be held
at the Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Earth Science Center near
Montgomery. It is open to private forest landowners and other outdoor
enthusiasts interested in learning how to care for woodlands and make
the right decisions about sustainable forest management. Attendees will
take part in indoor presentations and outdoor hands-on activities and
demonstrations, strengthen their knowledge of sustainable forest
management and talk with natural resource management professionals who
have experience in managing forest resources. To register, go to
