Physics and fun shows “Cool” side of science

PENNSDALE Susquehanna Health Kids Science Day, sponsored by Susquehanna Health, will be held at the Lycoming Mall on Wednesday, June 15 from 1 pm to 3 p.m. with a second session from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Susquehanna Health Kids Science Day is an initiative targeting elementary and middle school students entering third through eighth grade in our local community. At the event children will participate in fun, interactive science projects designed to engage them in science and math.

Volunteer mentors from Susquehanna Health, using materials developed in partnership with Siemens, one of the world’s leading electronics and engineering companies, and Scholastic, the internationally recognized children’s media, education and publishing company, will work with students on a simple circuit conductivity experiment.

The event is free. Registration is limited to 30 participants per session. Please call 877-883-4791 to register.
