Saturday, July 9, The Wildlife for Everyone 5 Miler footrace at State Game Lands 252 near Montgomery. Refreshments, food, and door prizes provided. Benefit Wildlife for Everyone Endowment Foundation. Contact wfe5M@windstream.net for more information.

Tuesday, July 12, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., The “Montgomery Community Closet” offers free clothing at Christ Lutheran Church, 50 East Houston Avenue, Montgomery, to anyone in the Montgomery School District who has a clothing need. Donations of clean clothing and shoes will also be accepted during this time.

Tuesday, July 12, 6:30 p.m. Montgomery Borough Council meeting at the borough hall, Main Street, Montgomery.

Saturday, July 19, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, First Annual Blueberry Fest. Games, food, & entertainment for all ages. Bring lawn chairs. Watsontown United Methodist Church, 1319 Eighth Street Drive, Watsontown.

Tuesday, August 2, 6 to 8 p.m., 5th Annual National Night Out hosted by Watsontown Police Department and Warrior Run Area Fire Department at the Fire Department across from the Elementary School along Route 405. Com and meet police and fire personnel, police cars and fire trucks up close. Live music and refreshments.

Friday, August 5, all day, Burger Burn at Sam’s Club sponsored by the Montgomery Area Historical Society.
