Wednesday, August 3, 6 to 8 p.m., book signing at the Montgomery Library. Joan Wheal Blank will be signing “Around Montgomery Borough 1940-1990”, her second book on the history of Montgomery.

Friday, August 5, all day, Burger Burn at Sam’s Club sponsored by the Montgomery Area Historical Society.

August 9, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., The “Montgomery Community Closet” at Christ Lutheran Church 50 East Houston Avenue, Montgomery, offers free clothing to anyone in the Montgomery School District who has a clothing need. Donations of clean clothing and shoes will also be accepted during this time.
