Benefit ride for Auburn Segraves Saturday Aug. 13 at VFW in Muncy. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and ride departs at 11 a.m. She is a 13 year old girl being treated for grade #3 cancerous brain tumor. Special events will be held from 1 to 6 p.m.

Sunday Aug. 14 Muncy Public Library will hold its annual skating party from 3 to 5 p.m. at Trout Pond Park. For more information call the library at 546-5014.

Sunday Aug. 14 Herbs and edibles at Montour Preserve. Learn healthy and creative cooking with Robert Brown in the Herb Garden for an afternoon on tips cooking and cultivating herbs. Meet at education center at 2 p.m. Learn to make herb infused vinegars and oils. Program ends at 5 p.m.

AARP Driver Safety Four-Hour Refresher Course Scheduled August 18?A four-hour AARP Drivers Safety Refresher course will be held Thursday, August 18 from 12:30 to 4:30 pm at The LifeCenter of Lycoming Mall for individuals who have previously completed the two-day, eight-hour course.
