Remember, Honor, & Celebrate at a September 11th Service on Sunday, September 11, at Watsontown United Methodist Church, that will remember the events of 911, honor those who gave during the horrific events of that day, and celebrate those who currently serve us through providing Emergency Services and Military Services. Demonstrations by local Fire/Rescue/EMS/Police Units at 5 p.m.; Service at 6 p.m.; and Time of Fellowship w/refreshments at 7:30 p.m., at 1319 Eighth Street Drive, Watsontown. Sept. 11 at 2:30 p.m. at the 1st United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St. there will be a civil war program sponsored by the Muncy Historical Society. “Deserter Country: Civil War Opposition in Pennsylvania” with presenter, Robert Sandow.
Butterfly Day at Montour Preserve Sun. Sept. 11 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Program will be held in the Environmental Education Center. A variety of activities for all ages will be presented.
Tues. Sept. 13 is the Senior Expo at Lycoming Mall sponsored by Representative Garth Everett and Senator Gene Yaw from 10 to 3. Health screenings available and lots of free information.
Sat. Sept. 17 rain or shine big Corvette Show, Main St. Muncy, 10 to 4. Food, art and fun! Free admission.
