Red Cross Blood Drive in Pennsdale Thursday, Oct. 6 at Gander Mountain from 4 to 8 p.m.

Oct. 6 the Area Agency on Aging will hold a public “Meet and Greet” event fro 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Sullivan County Elementary School. Light refreshments will be provided.

Oct. 7 Early Bird Toddler Tales at Muncy Library from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. for ages 1 to 3 1/2 with Miss Victoria. This program will be held every Friday morning in October.

Oct. 7 classes begin for Dining with Diabetes with Penn State Cooperative Extension at the Life Center. Series of classes will run from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Friday in October. Registration is required by calling 877-489-1398. It is a program for adults with diabetes and their families. Participants will learn how to prepare meals that are healthy, simple and tasty. Attendees will receive gifts and exercise DVD’s.

Oct. 8 Family Favorites story time at Muncy Library 10:30 to 11 a.m. For all ages who love music and books.

Fall craft show and chicken barbecue plus live entertainment by McNett Country Band on Oct. 8 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 6590 Musser Lane, Watsontown starting at 10 a.m., rain or shine.

Sat. Oct. 8 ALL SHOOK UP, a program at the Montour Preserve from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. to explore the cause of earthquakes, the geology of Pennsylvania, and the history of earthquakes here in the East.

Sun. Oct. 9 Repasz Band Concert at Muncy High School Auditorium at 2:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Muncy Historical Society and featuring Civil War Era music.
