HUGHESVILLE The Friends Church and the Hughesville Camp would like to announce that they will be hosting a FREE thanksgiving dinner on November 24th from noon to 3 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Hughesville Friends Church Outreach Commission, and is designed for people who may not have a place to go for Thanksgiving this year.

Everyone is welcome. There will be a full traditional menu, with turkey and all the fixings. Takeouts are available if people are unable to get to the Hughesville Camp. “Last year’s inaugural thanksgiving meal at the camp was such a blessing, ” says JR Heddings Outreach Elder from Hughesville Friends Church , “so many people gave, and so many people participated we knew we had to do this again this year. It will be especially meaningful for the families in the area that were devastated by the flood. “

The Friends Church has a variety of worship styles and opportunities, with Sunday morning services at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and a more intimate, casual worshipexperience Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
