Sun. Nov. 27 17th annual Lights of Love ceremony at Muncy “Valley Hospital at 6:30 p.m.
Nov. 25-27 Tree Fest at the Caldwell Consistory, 150 Market St., downtown Bloomsburg. 140 live decorated trees and a gingerbread village with handmade crafts for sale.
Nov. 30 – Son-Light Distribution from 10 a.m. to noon. Call 546-7307.
Family Story Time and Art Activity-December 1-Thursday evening from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm with a combination story time and art activity which is geared for families with children ages 3 and older. At each program you will enjoy a special book with Miss Victoria and explore a related art activity to take home with you. All materials will be provided. Space limited. Call the library at 546-5014 or sign up at the desk.
Sat. Dec. 3 a reading of The Night Before Christmas at 10 a.m. at Muncy Historical Society. Treats for kids and Santa will make an appearance.
Dec. 3 a Tree Lighting Ceremony in Muncy sponsored by Kiwanis and treats will be handed out to all kids.
Muncy/Hughesville Book Club-December 3-Saturday morning at 10 am. Bring your favorite holiday poem or story to share. Come enjoy a delightful morning among fellow book lovers.
On Saturday, Dec. 3, at noon Santa will arrive by fire engine at the Muncy Post Office. Children will have the opportunity to visit with him in the Santa house located alongside of the post office following his arrival. Cookies and beverages will be served in the Post Office lobby by members of the Kiwanis Club and the Muncy High School Key Club. Muncy band members will entertain in front of the Post Office starting at 11:30 a.m.
Sat. Dec. 3 Wings Over Water program at Montour Preserve from 9 to 11 a.m. Take a second look at migrants on Lake Chillisquaque and observe the different species rarely seen any other time of year. Dress for weather.
Frosty Family Story Time-December 10-Saturday morning from 10:30 am-11:00 am at the Muncy Public Library. There’s a nip in the air and maybe even a hint of snow-it’s time for snuggle-up books shared with special family and friends. No registration is required for our cozy Story Time all about this lovely time of the year. Guaranteed to give you and yours the “warm fuzzies”!
