Hughesville locals
Fun Fact For The Week: New York City is only three hours away. It’s a great time of year to go in and see all the decorations, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree (which is from Mifflinville!) and the Radio City Music Show. We went in this past weekend and viewed Elizabeth Taylor’s jewels on display at Christies. It was an amazing showcase of a fascinating woman with the most incredible and extensive collection of jewelry in the world, a truly memorable experience. The exhibit is only on display until the 12th, so order your tickets now!
Pet Peeve For The Week: I finally realized that everything I needed to know in life I could have learned by watching “Rudolph The Red-Nosed-Reindeer”. For instance, there are popular characters and misfits – a character with a disability, there are bullies, concerned parents who always question themselves, kind and wise elderly people, and the life lesson of having good friends.
The Luminary and East Lycoming Shopper are collecting Toys For Tots. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the office by December 17.
