Your local library is continuing to have storytime every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. for our youngest readers and pre-readers. Stop in at the corner of Houston and Main in downtown Montgomery with your little one, check out the latest books, pick up a couple of movies, offer your services as a library board member, and take a look around one of our borough’s historic gems.

Thursday, Dec. 15, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Free Fellowship Dinner at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 6590 Musser Lane, Watsontown, featuring roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, cranberry or applesauce, dessert and a beverage.

Saturday, December 17, 4 p.m., Open House at the Stone Church; Candlelight Service starts at 6 p.m. Sponsored by the Montgomery Area Historical Society.

Tuesday, December 20, 7 p.m. Montgomery School Board will meet at the district office building.

Wednesday, December 28, 1 to 6 p.m., Red Cross Blood Drive at Clinton Township Fire Hall, Route 54 near Montgomery.

Saturday, December 31, 4 p.m. to 12 midnight, spend New Year’s Eve with the McNett Country Band at Clinton Township Fire Hall. Entertainment will include round and square dancing. Ticket includes dinner and band, sauerkraut and hot dogs at midnight. Tickets must be purchased in advance call 547-6928 for more information.
