Seeing a lot of red lately? It has a purpose: February is American Heart Month. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S. The simplest way to combat this disease? Heart-healthy physical activity. Get out and enjoy the warmer than average temperatures we’ve been experiencing with a walk through Montgomery. And when it starts to get colder, hit the gym at the Montgomery Area Community Center during their adult and family hours. It’s a much friendlier environment than your usual gym. For more information, check out their website at www.montasd.org. Now get moving!
