Feb. 9 – Family story time and art activity at Muncy Library from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Call to register at 546-5014.

Feb. 9 at Life Center ‘Follow Your Heart’ event from 2:30 to 6:30p.m. with free health screenings and educational programs. To register for a free session call 1-877-883-4791.

Central Food Bank Distribution Feb. 10 at the Meck Senior Center, Muncy Township.

Feb. 11 Valentine Make-N-Take Craft Activity at the Muncy Library for ages 6 to 12 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Call to register at 546-5014.

Holy Spirit Evangelical Lutheran Church is hosting a full Turkey Dinner on Feb. 11. Dinner is at the church from 4 to 6 p.m. All are welcome, building is fully accessible.Holy Spirit is located at 10275 Route 44 between Turbotville and McEwensville.Call 649-5822 for more information.

Feb. 21 All you can eat Pancake and sausage supper for Shrove Tuesday at the Pennsdale Trinity United Methodist Church, 658 Village Rd. from 4 to 7 p.m. Children under 4 free.

Feb. 22 & 23 – Distribution Days at Son-Light House in Muncy, 130 Carpenter Street. Weds. 10 to noon, Thurs. 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Thurs. Feb. 22 AARP Driver Safety Four Hour Refresher Course at the Life Center from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Must show proof of previously attending AARP Driver Safety 8 hour course. Pre-register by calling Office of Aging at 323-3096. Pre-payment is required.

Feb. 22 Advance Care Planning program at Muncy Library 2 to 3 p.m. presented by Dr.Alexander Nesbitt who will discuss the role of living wills and advance directives, the ‘Pink Card’ and the ‘POLST’ document. Call 546-5014 to register.

Feb. 24 Evening card party at 5 p.m. at Meck Senior Center.

Feb. 25 Safe boating course at Gander Mountain from 9 to 5 to be offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Advance registration required by calling 435-2193.

Sat. Feb. 25 Maple Sugaring Open House from noon to 4 at the Montour Preserve. Meet at Environmental Education Center for a short film before a short walk through Goose Woods and the Sugar Shack. Demonstrations given on the hour until 4 and maple products will be available for purchase.

Mar. 7 Good n’ Plenty baked ham loaf supper at First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St. All you can eat from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Under 6 free. Take-outs available.

Mar. 29-31 – Hunter Trapper Education Program for youth ages 11 and older will be held at North Mountain Sportsmen’s Club on Shipman Hill Road in Muncy Valley. To enroll, register online at www.pgc.state.pa.us or call Rick Smith at 928-8941. Classes will be held from 6 to 9:30p.m. Thurs. and Fri. and 9 to 2 on Sat. All 3 sessions must be completed for HTE certification card.
