Montgomery locals

By Staff | Feb 21, 2012

Montgomery Borough turns 125 years old this year. There will be many celebrations, but I wanted to take the time to highlight a key player in this wonderful anniversary – the Montgomery Area Historical Society. This organization will be planning a variety of events in the community in honor of this occasion. I will be highlighting many of them in the Luminary throughout the year.

The first one is coming up in March, as you can see in the events listing below. The Historical Society does great things for Montgomery, giving new life to the Borough’s rich history, and this is the perfect year to familiarize yourself with them. Check out their new location on West Houston Avenue, where the old Adams Print Shop used to be, or visit their website at montgomeryareahistoricalsociety.org.
