Feb. 24 Evening card party at 5 p.m. at Meck Senior Center.

Feb. 25 Safe boating course at Gander Mountain from 9 to 5 to be offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Advance registration required by calling 435-2193.

Sat. Feb. 25 & Sun. Mar. 4 – Maple Sugaring Open House from noon to 4 at the Montour Preserve. Meet at Environmental Education Center for a short film before a short walk through Goose Woods and the Sugar Shack. Demonstrations given on the hour until 4 and maple products will be available for purchase.

Mon. Feb. 27 Friends of the Library will meet at 7 p.m. at the Muncy Library. New members welcome.

Mar. 2-4 – Garden of Quilts, Hughesville Fire Hall, over 100 quilts on display.

Mar. 7 Good n’ Plenty baked ham loaf supper at First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St. All you can eat from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Under 6 free. Take-outs available.

Mar. 29-31 – Hunter Trapper Education Program for youth ages 11 and older will be held at North Mountain Sportsmen’s Club on Shipman Hill Road in Muncy Valley. To enroll, register online at www.pgc.state.pa.us or call Rick Smith at 928-8941. Classes will be held from 6 to 9:30p.m. Thurs. and Fri. and 9 to 2 on Sat. All 3 sessions must be completed for HTE certification card.
