Montgomery locals
On Sunday, March 4th, the Montgomery Lions Club held their annual pork and sauerkraut dinner at the Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Company in Montgomery. I had the opportunity to attend, and the Lions did not disappoint. The sauerkraut, pork, mashed potatoes, and baked beans were all top notch. They had a great turnout, serving approximately 190 dinners, after cooking about 40 gallons of sauerkraut. Everyone is already looking forward to next year’s batch.
On a side note, the recently renovated Clinton Township Fire Company social hall looks great. The new layout was the perfect location for the community event.
