Montgomery locals
It seems like spring has finally sprung in the Montgomery area! To celebrate Montgomery’s 125th anniversary, as well as the beautiful weather, why not get outside and read a book by a local author? Last fall, I had the opportunity to learn about writers from the Montgomery area. The many authors offer a diverse collection of works, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. You’ll find all of these books and more at the Montgomery Public Library on Main Street. There is also a storytime hour every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. Visiting the library will give you a new appreciation for your town!
Coming up in April will be a program on the history of the village of Alvira which will be presented by the Montgomery Area Historical Society and the PA Game Commission within State Game Lands #252 on Alvira Rd. More details to come.
