Apr. 10 Friends Book sale at Muncy Library from 4 to 7 p.m. Come upstairs for some great deals.

Rainbarrels: Saving for a sunny day on Weds. Apr. 11 at Montour Preserve from 6 to 7 p.m. Take an active role and recycle water by learning to place a rain barrel under your gutter’s down spout that will hold about 50 gals. of water. Participants will receive plans and instructions.

Apr. 14 is the 2nd annual Spring 5K family run and walk at the YMCA. Proceeds will support the Strong Kids Campaign. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and race begins at 10 a.m.

Apr. 17 and 19 Boat Safety course at Gander Mountain from 5 to 9 p.m. Participants will receive a USCGA safe boating certificate. Call 435-2193 for more information.
