Muncy events
This week is National Nurses Week. If you know of a nurse, take time to thank them for what they do, to help our lives when we are sick and for their timeless effort to care for others.
The Vineyard Community Activity Center in Muncy is seeking volunteers for a scheduled work day this Saturday, May 12 beginning at 9:00 AM. They have several projects they need help with to complete, such as installing additional outside lighting on the building, excavating and planting a flower bed around the sign in the front yard, replacing some boards on warehouse doors and painting the doors, and finally to begin preparing block walls for painting. Any questions call the Vineyard at 546-0633 and leave a message and someone will return your call. Or you can contact any staff members: Jim Savage 570-916-6805, Matt Savage 570-772-7787, Cindy Collister 570-220-4568 or property committee chairperson, George Collister 570-244-1248. The Vineyard is located at the corner of Sherman and High Streets. They also ask to please bring applicable tools.
