Wade on Wheels fundraiser at Turbotville Community Center on Sunday, May 25 from noon to 4 np.m. Wade is cycling 4700 miles solo across the US in honor of his father, James who passed away from scleroderma, a rare disease, and wants to raise money for the foundation. Moreland Baptist Church will be holding a Service of Installation for new Pastor, Reverend Bob Ingraham and his wife, Beverly Ingraham, the Minister of Worship Arts, on Sunday June 3 at 3:30 p.m. Speakers will include Rev. Dr. Frank Frischcorn (ABCOPAD Region Executive Pastor), Rev. Dale Miller (Sr. Pastor of First Baptist in Bethlehem) and representatives from the Northumberland Association and the East Lycoming Ministerium. Special music will be provided by Tom Hallett and the Moreland Baptist Worship Choir. Nursery staff will be provided and the service will be followed by a meal in the fellowship hall. A free will offering will be collected. Public is invited to join the celebration at Moreland Baptist Church, 118 Moreland Baptist Rd. Muncy, PA.
The Billtown Blues Festival will be celebrating 23 years at the Hughesville Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 10. Gates will open at 11 a.m. and the show will run from noon to 10 p.m. Tickets are available at The Lockard Agency, Hull’s Landing and online at billtownblues.org.
