Sat. June 2 Birding the East Branch, a presentation about summer birds at the Montour Preserve. Walk along a trail at an easy pace through open fields, woodlands, grasslands and past wetlands. Meet at the East Branch Recreation area at 9:30 a.m. located on Rt. 44. Call 437-3131 for directions and to register.

Herb and plant sale from Muncy Herb Guild’s Gardens at the Muncy Library on June 2 from 9 to 4. All proceeds will benefit the library.

June 5 Pool Party for Seniors at YMCA community Room, Muncy, 50 Fitness Drive. For more information call 546-2542.

Friday, June 8 Class of 2012 graduation at Muncy High School, 7 p.m., front lawn, weather permitting.

June 8 and 9 there will be a community yard sale at the Vineyard Community Activity Center located at the corner of Sherman and High Streets, Muncy. To participate call 546-0633 and leave message. Crafters also invited. Small donation requested for table and space. Youth with staff will grill burgers and hot dogs and sell beverages and candy bars.

June 10 annual strawberry festival at the historic Warrior Run Church in Turbotville from 11 to 4, rain or shine. Featuring home made ice cream and strawberry desserts. An antique car show will be held in the Grove. Take a tour of the historic church and cemetery. Admission and parking free!
