Hughesville Locals
It’s time to get the kids involved in those summer activities. Research indicates there is a learning delay if children are not actively challenged all year long. So during those weeks off from school, check out some of the various activities taking place at area schools and playgrounds, local museums, Bible camps at churches, reading programs at the Hughesville Library and sports camps at the YMCA.
We also want to wish Lynn Stola, art teacher at East Lycoming School district and all of the other teachers who are retiring, the best of luck and many thanks for all of their hard work in our schools throughout the years. Lynn will continue working with the Luminary. She loves photography and you will most likely see her around the area, so watch out for those candid shots. She just might catch you somewhere when you least expect it!
