Hughesville locals
Good luck to Cassidy Merrifield who will be participating in the Laurel Festival this weekend in Wellsboro.
It has been said many times that Hughesville loves their parades. And this week there were several from Monday night’s pet parade to an antique parade Wednesday and then a fireman’s parade Saturday night. The carnival food was great with many lined up each night. The chicken barbecue fundraiser for the fire hall was served on Saturday with take-outs. Thanks Scott Aderhold for volunteering time to collect the money for the dinners.
Oh, and yes the live music held every night at the Fireman’s carnival had something to please everyone’s taste from rock to country.
