Muncy locals
All Americans should have access to safe, decent, affordable housing. During June, USDA Rural Development offices and communities throughout Pennsylvania will celebrate National Homeownership Month with events to highlight the importance of housing.
Lower mortgage rates and single family housing loan programs can help many who qualify to buy their own home.
Don’t forget to join in on the fun starting with a wonderful breakfast this Saturday morning at the Muncy Lawn Party. The pancake and sausage breakfast will be served from 6:30 to 11 a.m. I will be famished by the time I get there since I would have been fasting over 13 hours for blood work done through the Montoursville Rotary. And be sure to go inside the hospital to participate in the silent art auction. I was able to get two beautiful mosaic plaques, one of a kind from local ceramic Muncy artist, Deb Weiskopf.
