Hughesville locals

By Staff | Jun 19, 2012

Something interesting to see this weekend is the sport of carriage driving. The Susquehanna Valley Whips and Wheels will be having a show for two days this Saturday and Sunday at the Hughesville fairgrounds. Competitions, obstacles, timed events and a carriage dog class are just some of the interesting things to see. All of the events will begin at 8 a.m. and the admission is free.

And speaking of the Fairgrounds look for some new exciting entertainment next month at the Lycoming County Fair. Jack Smith said that the Dennis Lee Show is going to be really good and Aaron Kelly will be coming back too followed by fireworks. Tickets can be purchased for all shows at the ticket office in the fairgrounds which opened this past Monday.
