The Muncy Garden Club will meet at 6:45 p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the St James Parish Hall, 215 South Main Street, Muncy. The club is planning a special garden tour at the home of Deb Robbins. Members will leave St. James Parish Hall at 6:45 p.m. and car pool to the Robbins’ residence. Saundra Schmidt and Lana Newman will be hosting this meeting and providing refreshments and devotions. Anyone interested in joining the Muncy Garden Club is encouraged to attend.

The Church of Resurrection parish festival, 75 Musser Lane, will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Featuring great food, gift baskets to raffle, live music, book sale, ice cream, wine wheel, plant stand, wine wheel, children’s games and more.

Susquehanna Health Home Care & Hospice will hold hospice volunteer training classes June 28 and 29. The classes will be held at the Muncy Valley Hospital conference room from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Register by June 25 by calling 570-320-7691.

Let’s Make Art With Aleta-held at the Muncy Public Library on June 29-Friday from 1pm-2pm for ages 6-11. Come and learn how to draw a fantasy animal with artist Aleta Wynn Yarrow. All materials will be provided. Pre-registration is required and participants must be signed up for the Summer Reading Program. Call the library at 546-5014 to sign up or stop in.
