July 14 and July 21 Make a Mural with Miss Victoria at the Muncy Library froom 10:30 a.m. to noon for ages 6 to 8. Plan to attend both sessions. Art materials provided. Register at 546-5014.

July 19 the Muncy Garden Club will be taking a tour of John Brink’s garden in Muncy. Members, guests and all who are interested in gardening are welcome to join. The Club will meet in front of the parish hall at the Episcopal Church at 6:45 p.m. for a 7 p.m. tour.

Let’s Make Scratch Art, July 19 at the Muncy Public Library from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for ages 5 to 11. Call 546-5014 to register.

Annual quilt show July 20 and 21, with the Muncy Historical Society at Myers Elementary School. Special 2012 exhibit. Friday evening 4 to 9 p.m. with live music, guided tours and light refreshments. Saturday open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Quilt appraisals, vendors and more. A workshop is scheduled on Saturday afternoon with Judith Youngman and Sheridan Walter. Pre-registration required at 546-5917.

July 24 Kids In The Kitchen program will be held at the Life Center for children ages 4 to 12 to taste healthy snacks and learn how to select healthy foods for quick and delicious snacks. Sessions will be at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. Register by calling 1-877-883-4791.

July 27 Celebrate Christmas In July at Muncy’s downtown Last Friday event starting at 5 p.m. with a pet parade followed by a ‘Flash Dance.’
