Saturday Aug. 25 is Macy’s big shopping charity event, the 7th annual “Shop For A Cause” with the March of Dimes. Customers will receive a sales discount up to 25% on certain purchases.

Friday, August 31 join downtown Muncy Main Street’s Last Friday event for a corn husking contest. Prizes, games, giveaways and lots of local home grown corn to eat all to the tunes of Jim Lundy. Sponsored by the Muncy Professional Business Association.

Quilter’s Rummage Sale on Friday, August 31 from noon to 8 p.m. at the Muncy Historical Society, 40 N. Main Street, Muncy. Material sold by the pound plus quilters books and tools. Judith Cole Youngman will be doing a book signing for her new full color book, “Amadeus Quilts – A Journal of Encouragement.”
