Montgomery locals
The leaves are falling, and that means cold and flu season is upon us. sniffles and sneezes are quickly becoming commonplace, and everyone is looking to avoid the dreaded sickness. On Friday, October 26, there will be a free adult flu and pneumonia shot clinic at the Montgomery Area School District Field House. The shots will be administered from three to five in the afternoon. Keep in mind that they are given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Typically, prime candidates for flu shots are senior citizens, or adults with weakened immune systems, due to chronic disease or other health issues.
Montgomery events:
October 21 – On Saturday the Montgomery Area Historical Society will provide a program at Eagle Grange #1, Route 15 at the intersection of Blind Road in Clinton Township. This will occur on Tuesday evening, October 16th at 7:00 p.m. Local resident, Lanny Wertz, will present details regarding early Montgomery Borough dairies. The organization will open its new museum, “The Adam Room” to the public on the first and third Sundays of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This is located in the basement of the Montgomery Area Public Library at the former Adam Print Shop.
