Open Playtime at the Muncy Public Library-Jan 19 and Feb 2-Saturday mornings from 10am-11am for ages 12 mos.-3 1/2 years and their caregivers. Come enjoy “Open Playtime” with our developmentally appropriate toys in the Community Room.

Jan. 26 PA Wounded Warriors fundraiser. Local outdoorsman Barry Sones will raise money for the organization with a game meal and slideshow of his archery hunts in Africa for elephant and cape buffalo and in Alaska for caribou. The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Moreland Community Church, 1300 Church Drive. A new Hoyt bow package, carvings made by Muncy area artist, Steven Shaner and other items will be offered in a silent auction. Reservations required by calling Sones at 419-4749.

Winter Birding In Ontario – a bird watching program at Montour Preserve on Sat. Jan. 26 from 2 to 3 p.m. Northern specialty bird species appear in northeastern U.S. during certain winter and the program will explore where and when to find these winter birds and why they show up so far south of their normal range.
