“Revitalize Montgomery” held an Open House for the Montgomery community last Wednesday evening. I took some students from the Broadcasting and Photography classes to cover the event. As a resident of the surrounding Montgomery area, it was exciting for me to see the interest and drive evident in those working towards bettering the community. Being at this event couldn’t help but inspire you to work harder at contributing to the cause and reminding you how important it is to work together for a common goal. The more people that take on this “challenge” will only help to insure success and continue the foundation laid by the Revitalization Committee. A big thank you to all of those who put this event together. I urge you to learn more about this organization and initiative.

Montgomery events

An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held February 6 at the Elimsport United Methodist Church, 16145 South Route 44 Highway, Allenwood. The drive will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. For more information or to schedule an appointment call 1-800-733-2767.

The Montgomery Area School District will hold its February board meeting on the 19th at 7:00PM.
