Pre-registration is required for this event and can be made by calling the library at 546-5014.

Groundhog day walk at Montour Preserve on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Meet at Environmental Education Center. Presented by Jon D. Beam, Senior Naturalist. Join a winter walk along Montour Preserve’s trails. Learn why this day is special while exploring the lore and facts about groundhogs. Look and listen for winter birds and keep a sharp eye open for signs of animals. Enjoy a crisp winter morning in the outdoors. Dress for the weather and time outdoors. Bring binoculars if you have them.

Roast Turkey Dinner at Holy Spirit Evangelical Lutheran Church on February 9 from 4 to 6 p.m., 10275 State Route 44, Watsontown, Between McEwensville and Turbotville on Route 44. Dinner will be Roast Turkey with all the sides: filling, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, sherbet, and a beverage. All are welcome! Holy Spirit is fully accessible.
