Montgomery locals

By Staff | Mar 19, 2013

The winter winds returned this past week and brought with them a few stray snow showers. I guess our taste of an early spring was not meant to be this March.

It was a busy week in many of our area schools as their annual testing began. It was also a busy weekend in the arts. There were at least four area school districts presenting their spring musicals.

I think the time change affected all of us in Montgomery. As nice as it is to have the extra daylight, our bodies just couldn’t seem to catch up to the clocks. It is amazing what one hour can do to disrupt one’s routine.

Just a reminder to our area churches to consider sending in your Lenten and Easter service information.

Stay tuned for the next meeting of the “Revitalize Montgomery” committee as well as the announcement of their spring tree planting initiative. Plans are currently being finalized for this step in the committee’s beautification process. The date will be announced soon. Get involved in this worthwhile organization!
