It has been a very exciting week at the school. One of our high school Odyssey of the Mind teams has qualified for Worlds. The 7 member Structures team will be heading to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan on May 21 through 26.

Also, members of Virtuoso are in the midst of their tech week for the spring musical. We are very proud of all of the hard working students in the Montgomery School District. If you see any of these students, please congratulate them.

Montgomery Little League also got underway this week. It is very exciting to see all of our spring sports programs underway. It would be nice if the weather would start to cooperate with all of these great outdoor activities.

Revitalize Montgomery will begin its tree planting project Earth Day Monday, April 22 and will continue throughout the week. Area students and volunteers will be helping with the project and will culminate with the Montgomery LEO Club and Scouting programs helping with the final trees on Saturday, April 27. Please plan to attend and support this long awaited beautification project for the Montgomery borough.

Montgomery High School’s musical theatre ensemble, Virtuoso, will present its spring musical, “Tarzan”, April 27 at 7:00PM and April 28 at 2:00PM. You can reserve seating ahead of time by emailing cmcnear@montasd.org. There will be tickets available at the door for remaining seats that are not pre sold.

The Montgomery Elementary School will hold its annual Spring Fling on Friday, May 3.
