SPRING BIRDS, Sat. May 11, 8:30-10:30 a.m. Meet in Environmental Education Center at the Montour Preserve. Many spring migratory birds have returned and more are showing up daily. Venture through several of the preserve’s habitats to look and listen for birds as they establish territories and begin courtship and even nest-building. Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them and dress for time outdoors. Any sightings will become part of the Pennsylvania Migration Count.

Muncy Library – On Saturday, May 11, join Miss Amber for “Make a Mother’s Day Bouquet” activity from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. This program is for children ages 6-12, and all materials will be provided. Make a lovely paper flower boquet that Mom will love!

Registrations for the “Dig Into Reading” Summer Reading Program will begin on Monday, May 20. The program will run from June 10 to August 17.

Two sessions of the American Heart Association’s CPR Anytime program Class Offered at The LifeCenter, Lycoming Mall at 10:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. Weds. May 15. PA Department of Health’s Chronic Disease Nurse Consultant Becky Lewis, RN, will facilitate and offer hands-on learning and awareness of performing CPR. Participants will receive a free training kit that includes a mini Annie doll, booklet and DVD to take home and share with family and friends. Seating is limited.
