Communities tend to unite at graduation time. Montgomery is no different. The Montgomery Area Athletic and Community Center was filled this past Friday evening to celebrate the 109th annual commencement exercises. I would like to wish the best of luck to all of our graduates in their future endeavors.

Little League baseball and AYSO soccer teams are finishing up their spring seasons, but Legion baseball is underway. Catching a game is a wonderful way to spend a summer evening as well as a great way to support your town’s athletes.

The Montgomery Area School District will hold its monthly board meeting on Tuesday, June 18 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the auditorium. The community is encouraged to attend due to the discussion of the new schedule for the 2013-14 school year.
