Muncy Halloween Parade starts at the Firemen’s social hall on North Main St at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31. It will go up Main St and turn onto Penn St. and end at the High School. Everyone is welcome to come in costume and march.

Saturday, Nov. 2, 2-3:30 p.m., Environmental Education Center at Montour Preserve, musical program presented by Jay Smar, Singer/Songwriter who promises to delight us with a “fire in his fiddle” that will “spread to your heart.” He brings the same hand-clappin’, foot-stompin’ music, and entertaining vocals, guitar, fiddle and harmonica that have delighted audiences for over a decade. Smar will offer a great selection of old-time tunes, music from Pennsylvania coal mines and original selections. From folk to bluegrass and children’s songs, he brings something new each year.
